Company-specific termsThese terms identify Diamond tours s. r. o. as the contracting business. They should be reviewed before accepting live bookings.

1. About Diamond Tours and these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply when you use the Diamond Tours website, ask us to arrange an attraction experience or guided journey, or accept a quotation from us.

Your contract is with Diamond tours s. r. o., trading under the Diamond Tours brand, a Slovak limited liability company with registered office at Eötvösova ul. 3195/21, 945 01 Komárno, Slovak Republic, company identification number (IČO) 56 124 783, registered on 15 March 2024. By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms and any product-specific or supplier terms shown before payment.

2. What Diamond Tours provides

Diamond Tours provides a travel-arrangement and support service. Depending on the product, we may arrange attraction access, an English-speaking guide, hotel pickup, transport coordination or a multi-day itinerary.

Attractions, guides, transport companies and other third parties deliver parts of the experience. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Diamond Tours does not own or operate those venues or transport services. Their operational rules, opening times, safety requirements and admission conditions also apply.

The website descriptions are intended to explain the proposed experience. Availability, route, timing, inclusions and price become binding only when confirmed in writing by Diamond Tours.

3. Requests and booking confirmation

  • A website request is not a confirmed booking and does not guarantee availability or price.
  • We may ask for traveler names, ages, hotel details, accessibility needs or identification information required by a supplier.
  • A booking becomes confirmed only after we issue written confirmation and receive any required payment or deposit.
  • You must check names, dates, pickup details, inclusions and contact information immediately after confirmation.
  • Supplier tickets may be named, timed, non-transferable or subject to identity checks.

If we cannot provide the requested option, we may offer an alternative. You are free to accept or reject it before confirmation.

4. Quotations, prices and payment

Prices will be shown in the currency stated in the quotation and may include a Diamond Tours arrangement or service fee. The quotation must clearly identify included admissions, guiding, pickup, transport, taxes and any items payable separately.

Prices may change before confirmation because of supplier availability, exchange rates or itinerary changes. After confirmation, changes are made only where permitted by applicable law and these terms.

Payment details, accepted methods, deposit, balance due date and any payment provider used will be stated in the quotation or confirmation. You are responsible for bank, card or currency-conversion fees charged by your provider.

5. Changes, cancellation and refunds

Changes requested by you

Contact us as soon as possible. We will try to help, but changes depend on supplier availability and may create additional charges. Named or timed admissions may not be changeable.

Cancellation by you

The cancellation and refund conditions shown in your quotation and confirmation apply. Some supplier components may become non-refundable immediately after confirmation, especially named, timed or limited-availability admissions.

Changes or cancellation by us or a supplier

If a material part becomes unavailable, we will seek a reasonable alternative, a rescheduled service or a refund for the affected component, subject to applicable law and supplier recovery. Minor itinerary adjustments may be necessary because of traffic, weather, security, closures or operational needs.

Any mandatory consumer cancellation rights applicable to your booking remain unaffected.

6. Traveler responsibilities

  • Provide complete and accurate information by the requested deadline.
  • Carry valid passports, visas, permits, insurance and identification required for the journey.
  • Arrive at the confirmed meeting or pickup point on time and keep the supplied phone reachable.
  • Follow venue, guide and transport safety instructions, dress codes and conduct rules.
  • Tell us in advance about mobility, medical, dietary or other needs relevant to safe delivery.
  • Behave respectfully. Service may be refused where conduct is unsafe, abusive, illegal or seriously disruptive.

Missed entry or pickup caused by lateness, incorrect information or failure to follow instructions may be non-refundable.

7. Guided journeys and hotel pickup

Multi-day guided journeys are private itinerary proposals connecting several cities. Unless the confirmation states otherwise:

  • Guiding is provided in English during the scheduled visits, not continuously throughout every hour of the trip.
  • Hotel pickup applies from the confirmed accommodation and at the confirmed time. Location restrictions may apply.
  • Accommodation, meals, gratuities, personal expenses and travel insurance are excluded unless expressly listed.
  • Intercity rail or vehicle arrangements, luggage handling and return transfers are included only where the confirmation says so.
  • Daily order and timing may change to protect confirmed admissions or respond to operational conditions.

8. Liability and events beyond control

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

Subject to mandatory law, Diamond Tours is responsible for performing its own arrangement and support obligations with reasonable care. We are not responsible for independent events outside our reasonable control, including extreme weather, strikes, government action, security incidents, border disruption, public-health measures, venue closure or transport failure.

You are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical costs, delay, lost belongings and activities in the itinerary.

9. Complaints, governing law and contact

Raise problems during the experience where possible so we have an opportunity to help. Formal complaints should be sent without undue delay to team@thediamondtours.com with the booking reference and relevant evidence.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Slovak courts or competent alternative dispute-resolution bodies will have authority, without removing mandatory consumer rights or protections that apply in the consumer's country of residence.
